Creamy Breakfast oats

I’m such a  creature of habit and if you follow my Instagram @katsfitjourney you will know this is my go to breaky .

40 g of Mornflake oats  mixed with water and microwaved then I stir in a scoop of @jstjodie white cholate whey protein ( taste like milky bar) then top with a few of my favourites.

 

so simple and delicious.

 

 

Banana cookie dough Cake

This is by far one of the most delicious banana cakes I’ve made n a while

you will need :

1 banana mashed
200g of almond milk
1 1/2 scoop of cookie dough whey I use @jstjodie
80g of oats
1 table spoon of chia seed
2 table spoons of banana flour ( or any other )
tea spoon of vanilla
1 small banana sliced to top
Method
Mix together the mashed banana with the almond milk  before adding the rest of the ingredients. Mix all together and pour into a baking tray, top the mx with you sliced banana and bake on 190degrees for 25-30 minutes. Leave to cool or serve warm.

Simple crumble

Such a simple autumn comfort food recipe that is super easy

  • 1 cup of sliced peaches
  • half a cup of oats
  • 1 tea spoon of sweetener

Simply place you peaches on a baking tray and sprinkle over the remainder ingredients and bake of 190 degrees for 20 minuets ,

Simple!

Bakewell tart.. well almost

Bakewell tart is by far one of my most favorite deserts ever. This is my go to every time i crave it.

1 serving of natural Greek yogurt

1 tea spoon of natural almond extract

Topped with a handful of fresh cherries and almonds

Tastes  amazing !

Living the crazy life

I’ve been a little “mia” lately however starting my business for natural born kitchen and also becoming Jamie olivers  food revolution ambassador and a mother and wife has erm taken all my time up, I’m sure ill catch myself up at some point.

I wont lie though i’m loving it after spending 6 years of not leaving the house i finally feel like i’m flying . Natural born kitchen id getting such good feed back i’m so overwhelmed  we make raw organic 100% natural healthy brownies vegan and paleo friendly dairy & gluten free that are posted straight through your door . Blackberry “crumble”

Single serve blackberry crumble This taste amazing and it’s simple to make it’s even great for breakfast

👉Place 1 handful of balckberrys at the bottom of your oven proof dish.
👉mash 1 half of a banana with two table spoons of oats.
👉place the “pie” mix on top of your blackberrys and bake on 190 degrees for around 25 mins.
👉😋 enjoy

Oatie pops

You will need
1 half of a banana
30g jumbo oats
1 tea spoon of cinnamon
1 small hand full of raisins
1 table spoon of chopped almonds
1 tea spoon of vanilla extract

Mash the banana and oats together then mix in the remaining ingredients.
Make small shapes out of the mix and place on to a greeced oven proof tray bake on 190 degrees for around 20 minutes.
I served mine warm in a dish of almond milk they are so tasty and really that simple to make.

Good morning everyone,

I am so sorry I have been missing lately but oh my goodness is life hectic ! starting my own business natural born kitchen during the summer holidays with my little ones around has been erm fun to say the least. Finding time rewind and workout has been hard but I’ve done my best. If I’m honest my biggest challenge is to stay on top of my disorderly eating  ( anyone who doesn’t know I have been fighting bulimia for nearly 2 years) and when my normal day to day routine is thrown out of the window I can slip big time . However I’m actually staying strong and doing well I’m trying to eat intuitively sounds simple eh ? eat when your hungry and stop when you are comfortable yet so many of us struggle with this and its something I truly aim to achieve. Any way rant over business is launched and I’m sure at some point ill catch up with myself ! So what better way to star my day than with this handsome bowl of oats in almond “milk” topped with banana coins pecans and a dollop of choc almond butter …. Its amazing eating healthy never tasted so good !

Chocolate Protein Brownies

Oh my goodness this rocks my socks off! Words can’t describe how good they are.

If you’re planning a little bit of weekend baking these should be on your list.

You will need

  • 2 Bananas
  • 30g of oats
  • 50g of natural yoghurt
  • 30g of chocolate protein ( can substitute for more oats and raw cacao powder)
  • 2 eggs
  • Pinch of baking powder
  • 100ml of almond milk (or water)
  • Tea spoon of coconut oil
  • Tea spoon of cacao powder

Here’s the quick and fun part pop all of the ingredients together in to a blender and blend until you have a thick chocolate milkshake texture.

Pour all of your mixture on to your oven proof and Greece proof tray bake on 190 degrees for around 30 minutes (firm to touch)

Slice them in o squares and leave to cool.

Sprinkle a little raw cacao powder over the top to finish
